Used Skydio drones

Skydio was founded in 2014 by three MIT graduates, two of whom had worked on Google's Project Wing, and it built its name on drones that fly themselves around obstacles. The R1 arrived in 2018, the Skydio 2 in 2019 and the Skydio 2+ in 2022, each able to follow its owner around trees and buildings with a ring of navigation cameras doing the seeing. In August 2023 the company left the consumer market to focus on police, utilities and the military, though it still sells Skydio 2+ batteries, controllers and Beacons. Its work drones, the X2 and the X10, live inside Skydio Cloud accounts, so a used one needs releasing by its last owner. The X10 is built in Hayward, California. The X10D is the defense version.
